The DSP2405 is a self-adaptive feedback destroyer that can convert from "FAST" or "ACCURATE" modes. The FAST mode is good for mobile microphones which always speak from one position to another, such as multiple microphones switches speaking in a meeting room. The ACCURATE mode is good for microphones that always speak in the same position, such as microphones speaking at a fixed platform.
DSP2405 feedback destroyer can restrain itself with a very slow speed to destroy more unwanted feedback. What's more, it
can gain up to 12dB before feedback. The gain depends on the acoustic environment and the selected mode.
The two-way microphone inputs of the feedback destroyer have built-in auto-mixing. Under many circumstances, such as speaking at a lectern, platform or conference table, the two microphones can better capture the voice of the moving speakers. However, this will increase the risk of acoustic feedback. To solve this problem, the auto-mixing will auto-decrease the gain of the microphone with a weak signal and increase the gain of the other microphone with a strong signal. In this case, it stacks with the speaker and produces the clearest sound reproduction. In the meanwhile, the maximum gain allowance without acoustic feedback is maintained because of its constant total gain. The auto-mixing is still functioning even though feedback destroyer is stopped working.
