The significance of applications of line array systems is the long-distance sound dispersion and uniform sound field coverage. In order to achieve a long distance thrown, the line array should have a narrow waveguide so as to throw the sound to a greater distance. If a group of long-distance thrown linear array speakers have the same sound pressure level both in the front and further areas, the audience in front of them will feel uncomfortable.
